Good for the wall

- Clear images where a cat is the main subject
- Everyday moments, portraits, action, naps, and joyful chaos
- Light edits that do not misrepresent harm or ownership
Not allowed
- Animal cruelty, injury, fighting, sexual content, or graphic material
- Photos copied from another person, publication, or social account
- Visible phone numbers, addresses, identification, or private records
- Advertising, watermarks, QR codes, promotional text, or spam
- Synthetic images presented as a real animal photograph
- Repeated uploads or attempts to manipulate likes and shares
How moderation works
Uploads pass file safety, duplicate, species, and content checks before publication. Confident safe matches publish automatically. Uncertain results wait for review, while confirmed unsafe, wrong-species, duplicate, or invalid files are rejected. A reviewer may approve, reject, or remove a photo. These controls protect the wall; they are not a promise that every published photo is rights-cleared.
Community guidelines
Cat photos raise their own review questions. A frightened cat and a relaxed one can look similar in a still frame, so we read the whole picture — ears, pupils, posture — before publishing.
Handling and restraint
Photos where a cat is held still against clear resistance, scruffed for the shot, or posed in costume that pins the legs do not get published. A cat that walked into the frame is fine.
Homes are in shot
Indoor photos catch more of your room than you expect. Check the background for mail, screens, keys and windows before uploading, because we cannot un-publish what has already been copied.
Street and colony cats
Photos of outdoor cats are fine. Leave out the feeding station, the street sign and anything else that would let a stranger find a colony that is safer left alone.
Report a concern
Removal and safety reports receive an initial review within 24 hours. Complex requests may need more information; we send the next steps to the email provided.
Use the review link on any photo or visit the copyright and removal form. Include the exact photo URL and enough information for us to evaluate the request.
